Over 160 buses visit Maxim Park every day. 202 and 242 First bus services run every 20-30 minutes during peak times between Maxim and the local railway station hubs of Motherwell and Airdrie. The bus service also links up the surrounding communities with stops at Coatbridge, Whifflet, Holytown and Wishaw. Maxim staff will benefit from First’s range of day tickets, returns, weekly, 4 weekly and 10 weekly discount tickets. The service also accepts Zonecards, providing tenants with an easy and cost effective way of traveling.
In addition, both the Citylink 900 and Citylink AIR bus services run every half hour, 7 days a week from Maxim to Glasgow City Centre, Edinburgh Airport and Edinburgh City Centre.
Glasgow City Centre is accessible within 20 minutes, Edinburgh Airport 35 minutes and Edinburgh City Centre is reachable in under one hour. Maxim card holders receive a considerable discount on both Citylink bus services. From Buchanan Bus Station there is a Glasgow Airport Shuttle bus which runs every 10 minutes, offering an attractive interchange option for Maxim passengers. The park offers a generous ratio of parking to tenants at 1 space per 270sq ft, and the option of additional parking on licence. The on-site management team at Maxim are on hand to assist both staff and visitors of the park with support and advice in relation to travelling to and from the park. UKPC are our parking management service provider at the park and carry out on-site daily patrols to ensure only authorised staff and visitors are parking at Maxim Park.

Maxim Park benefits from close proximity to a number of local cycle and walking routes, as well as having bike parking, showers and changing facilities available at each building within the park. Our bike hire scheme enables staff to try cycling to work and provides you with all necessary safety equipment.
Maxim works closely with Bike for Good and North Lanarkshire Council to promote cycling at the park. Both organisations host cycling events and provide Maxim staff with Cycle Scotland and walking route maps.
Our car share scheme not only helps to protect the environment but can also save employees money on their average commute expenses. liftshare.com is a completely free to use scheme available to all to Maxim Park and Eurocentral employees.

The lochs and canal attract a large number of water birds, both resident and migrants.
