Meet the Maxim Team - Brian Kiggin
Brian, please tell us about the role you play within the Maxim team?
I am the Facilities Coordinator which means I assist the Director of Park Services in staying on top of matters such as facilities management, compliance and utilities. I am also the first point of contact for tenants, visitors and contractors on the park.
How have your first few weeks been working at Maxim?
Its flown by to be honest! I’ve been busy assisting on the fire risk and health and safety audits!
What roles have you held prior to joining the Maxim team?
Before joining Maxim, I was an in-house facilities manager at a business-to-business utilities provider.
What do you enjoy most about your role at Maxim?
Meeting all the different faces on the park and trying my best to make sure each day is hassle free for our tenants.
What makes Maxim a special place to work?
The beautiful landscape of the park which I am really enjoying now we that summer has arrived!
What will be happening at Maxim Park over the next few weeks?
Summer is our busiest season for events - keep an eye on the Maxim Park App for what’s coming up!
Tell us about some of the facilities available to guests at Maxim?
We’ve got bikes for hire, that you can book on our App and perfect for getting about, particularly in the Summer months.
What keeps you busy when you’re not working at Maxim?
My newborn son who was only 2 weeks old when I joined Maxim! Other than trying to get sleep, I enjoy going to the gym, travelling around Scotland and the odd holiday abroad.
Tell us something about Maxim that we may not know?
That there is a stoat that runs around the park and although everyone seems to think its fake - its definitely real!
Tell us an interesting fact about yourself.
It’s a running joke in the Maxim Management Team that I once met Wayne Rooney in a bar in Berlin. Perhaps because I keep mentioning it!
