3 ways to join us on our net zero journey
At Maxim Park, our mission is to create a healthy and stimulating workplace environment. A place where our guests can thrive and become part of a vibrant community where work and play blend seamlessly.
Central to this mission is our Environmental Social & Governance (ESG) Report and Action Plan.
ESG refers to a set of criteria used to assess the sustainability and ethical impact of a business or organisation. The importance of ESG for an office park cannot be overstated, as it directly aligns with the principles of responsible and sustainable management of lived space and effective placemaking.
Ellie Jackson, our Sustainability & Community Co-Ordinator, explains: “Companies across the world are waking up to the reality that their sustainability commitments are business-critical and that their customers, employees and stakeholders have come to expect a high standard.
“We’re really proud of what we’ve achieved here at Maxim Park, supporting tenants on their journey to Net Zero while creating a biodiverse space full of opportunities to connect with nature.”
Our ESG Plan is all about collaboration. We are immensely proud of the community we’re creating, and we believe strongly that the only way to tackle to the climate crisis is through collective change.
Our ESG Plans sets out the commitments we’re making in all areas of sustainability, and here are three ways you can get involved to build a more sustainable lifestyle here at Maxim Park:
Make the switch to a green energy tariff
Did you know that 100% of the energy used within the Maxim Park managed spaces comes from REGO (Renewable Energy Guarantees of Origin) backed, locally sourced renewable energy?
We would love to see more workplaces at Maxim Park powered this way so why not explore if a sustainable switch could work for your office and your home.

Join our Sustainability Working Group
Our Sustainability Working Group is a great way to find out about the latest updates from the Maxim Management Team, but it’s also a chance for Maxim occupiers to share their own sustainability story.
Very soon we will be relaunching our Sustainability Working Group for 2025! We meet quarterly at the Maxim 3 management suite where we work with tenants to embed sustainability through partnerships and collaboration, ensuring the sustainability journey doesn't end once a building is occupied.
If you would like to join our Sustainability Working Group or have any questions about the group, please email ellie.jackson@maximpark.co.uk
Volunteer at our allotment & community garden
With Spring and Summer around the corner, why not embrace lunchtime gardening opportunities and get stuck into our onsite allotment space. Green thumbs are optional as whatever your ability, we’ve got an activity you can try your hands at!
Why not adopt a seedling this Spring and start your horticultural journey with us. Our first Allotment session of 2025 takes place on 25th March. Find out more: https://www.maximpark.com/events/allotment-session-mar-25-25
Coming soon - look out for more ways that you can get involved in our net zero journey!
