A very warm welcome to The Park!

One of Scotland’s most popular workplaces has welcomed the launch of a new café which will keep thousands of office workers well-nourished with a range of breakfasts, lunches and snacks.

Maxim Park is now home to The Park, named for its owner Deborah Park who has revitalised premises previously occupied by Regis Coffee Bar and Bistro.

She explained: “My husband and I had breakfast at Regis most days before it sadly closed and we could see the huge potential. We are offering something to suit everyone, whether to relax before or after work, or to pop in for lunch, or even conduct a meeting with a coffee and a slice of cake.

“We’ll also be open to hearing suggestions for menu changes so we’re always giving our customers what they want, and we hope they’ll become friends over time. After all, we are here for them!”

The Park, which is located on Parklands Avenue parade, sells a variety of favourites from toast to steak pie and mash, and a grab-and-go lunchtime menu features quick turnaround items like baked potatoes, pizza, paninis and more.

Deborah’s team are on hand between 7am and 3pm each weekday, and depending on demand, may begin to open at the weekend as well, with plans to recruit new staff shortly.

Caroline Baillie, Maxim’s director of park services said: “We have welcomed a host of new tenants to Maxim Park this year and have a number of further lettings in the pipeline, so it is vital that we have a strong food and drink offer onsite.

“With 24-hour security, a hotel and gym, we pride ourselves on being able to attract first class leisure and retail amenities and have no doubt that The Park is a very welcome addition to the on-site eateries we have for members of our community to choose from.”

Maxim Park boasts 756,000 sq. ft. of quality office and retail space close to the M8 motorway on the fringes of Glasgow.
