Maxim move proves a big hit for Linear Group

Following their relocation to 15,000 sq.ft at Maxim Park earlier this year, we have been talking to Stephen Holmes, CEO of Linear Group to find out how they are settling in (and we took a closer look at their fantastic fit-out!).

Stephen, how have the first few months gone since you moved into Maxim 7?
Since moving into the space, we’ve seen a very positive response from both clients and staff. It’s made a real difference to people’s motivations and engagement with one another.

How are your team members settling in?
Moving in coincided with general return to work following the Covid pandemic so it represented a real milestone for us as a business. The new and improved facilities played a significant part in the positive feedback that we received from our recent staff survey and makes for a thoroughly enjoyable workplace.

Have you had any feedback on what the team like about working at Maxim?
There are considerable benefits for our team being located at Maxim, specifically due to the added collaboration that the space affords, the welfare options – Piece, Regus, BB Café, parking – and meeting room availability.

What do you think the longer term impact could be on the business?
Our move and commitment to Maxim sends out a message of our intentions to the market, as well as showing the confidence we have in the direction and growth of the Group. Additionally, we have noted the positive impression the office and facilities have had on clients, consultants, candidates/interviewees and the likes who have visited us since we moved.

Overall, this helps support our ambitions and culture as we invest in making the Group stronger, adding new talent and optimising the experience for our teams.

What else is happening at Linear at the moment?
We’re delighted to have recently reached key milestones for our latest venture, Linear Living, our new housebuilding division. Our team in England have completed their first site whilst in Scotland, we have acquired our first site and we look set to drive great success in this area over the coming months and years.

It's an exciting time for the Group as we continue to broaden our footprint and grow our business, as reflected in the move to Maxim.
